Halo is the world’s leading third-party optical transceivers business serving customers from its supply facilities and sales offices in the USA, Europe and Asia.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated candidate who can demonstrate going ‘the extra mile’ to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. The successful candidate will ensure both external and internal customers receive a “best in class” service when processing orders; updating lead times; advising on product specification; and expediting requests. The successful candidate will be a confident person; with great written and verbal communication skills, good attention to detail and an understanding of the pressures of working within a targeted sales environment.

This position will be based at our UK headquarters in Gloucestershire. The role will report to the Production and Customer Service Manager, based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to customer enquiries by email or phone promptly and with a positive and professional attitude at all times
  • Provide pro-active customer and sales team feedback on back orders and lead time reports
  • Advise customers on product suitability, price and lead time enquiries
  • Check and update details on the sales and logistics systems
  • prioritize orders and requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally
  • Efficiently process quotes and sales orders
  • Work with internal teams to remove any potential production or logistic obstacles, keeping the customer updated.
  • Maintain and update customer information on CRM
  • Interaction with key internal departments, i.e. Purchasing, Finance, Product Managers, Sales

Skills Required

  • Demonstratable Customer Service excellence
  • Great written and verbal communications skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Excel/Office/email etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Motivated and enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service
  • Competitive in nature
  • Desirable - Exposure of Sage/CRM
  • Desirable – fluent in a European language
  • GCSE grade C or above – Math’s and English

EMEA Service Provider Client Director – UK

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated candidate to join our sales team as EMEA Service Provider Client Director . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing ProLabs’ Service Provider and Telco business in EMEA, to develop strategies and position ProLabs products into Telco & Service Provider customers.

This position can be home based or at our UK headquarters in Gloucestershire. The role will report to the VP of EMEA Sales, based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Penetrate and develop Telco & Service Providers at target account(s)
  • Implement Service Provider business growth strategy utilising both direct sales and channel partners
  • Support Service Provider RFI’s, best positioning ProLabs for engagement.
  • Work with our technical team to ensure awareness and development of the product set required by key partners
  • Visiting customers and maintaining top level relationships with target account(s)

Skills Required

  • Strong relationships at various levels of technical and procurement teams at target account(s)
  • Understanding of and experience with the technical and procurement processes of target account(s)
  • Ability to work on own initiative or work as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Motivated and enthusiastic
  • Target driven

Inside Sales Representative

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales team. The successful candidate will work with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. Sales representatives might work to find new sales leads, through business directories, client referrals, etc. Inside sales reps are friendly, well-spoken and ready to close the deal.

This position will be based or at our UK headquarters in Gloucestershire. The role will report to the VP of EMEA Sales, based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to build rapport with internal and external customers and having a “customer first” attitude
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Willing to work through issues while maintaining strong customer relationships and building trust over time
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Adhere to company policy and work in line with the Company Quality Management System at all times

Skills Required

  • An ability and aptitude for cold calling
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Preference: Knowledge of CRM, Intermediate level Excel/Office/email etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Previous work experience in any of the following areas: Cisco based environment, Sales Support, Inside Sales, Optical Networking
  • Motivated and enthusiastic
