At this premier industry event, ProLabs will spotlight a powerful portfolio of coherent transceiver solutions designed to accelerate the evolution of cable networks and meet the bandwidth demands of tomorrow. This year, ProLabs will highlight several game-changing technologies and products, including:

  • 100G QSFP28 DCO: Offering advanced digital coherent optics in the widely adopted QSFP28 form factor, these transceivers feature compatibility with both SFF-8636 and CMIS hosts and a broad range of transport systems, enabling seamless integration and deployment for cable operators.
  • 400G EDFAMUX for 400G ZR+: Unlocking powerful optical multiplexing for high-capacity, flexible transport across long distances, this solution is engineered to support the latest 400G ZR+ modules.
  • 400G Ultra Long Haul: ProLabs’ 400G Ultra Long Haul solutions expand the reach of high-speed optical connectivity beyond 2000KM.
  • 800G ZR+: Pushing the boundaries of data transmission, ProLabs’ 800G ZR+ offerings deliver state-of-the-art capacity, ultra-long reach, and unmatched efficiency for the most advanced network architectures.

ProLabs QSFP 100G DCO transceivers remain a crucial solution for seamless, cost-effective data transmission in the US, UK, and across North America, eliminating the need for expensive repeaters and supporting high-speed connectivity across multiple platforms.

These transceivers are readily available from both US and UK distribution centers and can interoperate across diverse network infrastructures, freeing up critical resources while enabling expansion in AI-driven and traditional data center environments.

“We’re excited to introduce our expanded lineup of DCO transceivers alongside our existing 400G ZR+ portfolio,” said ProLabs Vice President, Product Line Management Ray Hagen. “These solutions enable operators to enhance their networks by minimizing the number of active components in the optical path. This not only helps reduce unnecessary operational costs, but also supports operators in meeting the ever-increasing demand for high-capacity, low-latency connectivity.”

Using the range offers operational advantages, reducing the need for transponders and other transport equipment, vastly reducing the amount of equipment needed within a network.

The 100G DCO transceiver is available in two variants: standard power for -10 dBm requirements, and a High TX variant version for specific applications. As part of the transceiver family, ProLabs also offers ITEMP, ITEMP AutoTune, and CTEMP AutoTune, and will be shortly launching a CMIS version. These enable network builders and operators to automatically select the correct wavelength for their requirements as soon as the solution is plugged in for faster, more flexible network integration.

“Another challenge for operators is leveraging existing network infrastructure,” continued Hagen. “Deploying our 100G DCO transceivers enables higher-value services without additional network investment.”

The ProLabs family of 100G DCO transceivers will be available at SCTE TechExpo25, booth Q2032.
